How long does the BOTOX® treatment take? This treatment takes no longer than 15 minutes, though it varies depending on the size and location of treatment area.
How many BOTOX® treatments do I need? A treatment is required every 3-4 months although some patients have reported longer wait times after repeated treatments.
When can I expect to see the results of the BOTOX® treatment? You will notice visible results within 1-2 weeks of your treatment, with results lasting up to 12 weeks. You will be able to return to your daily activities immediately after the procedure.
- Dermal Fillers
A dermal filler is a gel injection used to soften folds, wrinkles and creases on your face, mouth and lips. Unlike BOTOX®, dermal fillers will not affect the nerves or muscles underneath your skin.
Most dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, are made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally derived material which, when directly injected into the skin, plumps up that area to the point where the wrinkle or depression disappears.
How long does the dermal filler treatment take? This treatment takes no longer than 30 minutes, depending on the size and location of treatment area.
How many dermal filler treatments do I need? The results of dermal fillers are not permanent and depending on the type of filler, results can last from 6-12 months.
When can I expect to see the results of the dermal filler treatment? You will notice visible results within a few days of your treatment, with results lasting up to 12 months. You will be able to return to your daily activities immediately after the procedure.
- Deep Chemical Peels
If you have deeper facial wrinkles, sun-damaged skin, scars or blotchy areas, deep facial chemical peels might be the right moderately invasive rejuvenation procedure for you.
In a deep chemical peel, a chemical solution called phenol is applied to the skin and allowed to soak in. While a superficial or ‘light’ peel will only remove the top layer of skin, a deep chemical peel will penetrate several layers, allowing new skin to grow in its place and producing more drastic results.
How long does the chemical peel treatment take? The treatment lasts 30-60 minutes depending on how large the treatment area is.
How many deep chemical peel treatments do I need? Given the strength of this procedure, one treatment is sufficient.
When can I expect to see the results of the deep chemical peel treatment? You will see visible results 7-10 days after your treatment although it may take up to 2 months for your skin to fully heal.
